Material development

PLPG participants did a mini workshop in material development on Saturday, 26 May 2012. They had short functional texts and made some exercises for these texts.

Basically short functional texts can be categorized as:

1. Announcements
2. Advertisements
3. Invitations
4. Brochures
5. Letters
6. Memos
7. Shopping Lists
8. SMS

The above list was not comprehensive, but in the workshop the scope was confined to the above.

After the participants worked in five groups for about 30 minutes, they presented the results of material development in front of the class. The soft copy of the files could be downloaded below:
